Who are we?

Who are we?

Originally carpenter and joiners of period property features.

Over the years we’ve attracted a bit of publicity

for our efforts in preserving period wooden windows and doors:

“At the time it seemed that everyone was having plastic double glazing installed without realizing the huge loss to our built environment that would cause. Nowadays there are by-laws and Conservation Areas preventing this but it wasn’t the case when Sashpro started out. We we’re joiners of doors and windows already but we took this issue seriously and steered alternative thinking, as the press above and the following documents show, keep an eye on the dates…”

Since then we’ve refurbished, renewed, draught proofed, double glazed
and basically helped to ensure the preservation of the box sash window
the period casement window and period wooden doors in houses,
flats, and offices throughout London and the Home Counties.
