HOW WE WORK AND WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS REALLY SAY

For the home owner and the principal contractor – a plan for success
planning sketch

Sometimes there’s nothing better than a change in the home or workspace environment. Sometimes it’s out of necessity and at other times it’s just about putting your own mark on your home.
From prioritising the attention required to a given window or door through to deciding the finished aesthetic and feel, to finally living in an improved environment, this all can be an extremely satisfying process.
At Sashpro our sole aim is to help provide and share that feeling with our clients. We’ve found increasingly that period homeowners appreciate their historic houses, ensuring that the charm they have provided for decades continues to this day making our towns and cities the envy of the world.

We’ll be on-hand to guide you with a wealth of thirty years of experience. From helping with design, to ensuring the correct timber usage to decorative colour finishes through to providing your Building Control certification.
Let us into your world to see if we can be your professional accomplices in providing substance to your imagination and ideals. Providing a reliable service to the contractor and homeowner.
Ensuring the success of a projects’ scope of works needs clear headed thinking and operating that will result in reducing costs that inevitably accrue from backtracking, holdups and general confusion.
All too often multiple supply-fitters schedules will just not marry up, no matter how well the promises have been made beforehand.
This can leave gaping holes in the proceedings that will cost other supply-fitters and ultimately the Principal Contractor.

The solution:
Having purpose made joinery, ready to fit as your project’s schedule demands gives you the certainty you need when aligning time and budget.
The responsibility of this crucial timing should really fall to one individual and not be subject to the logistics of multiple trades. This individual couldof course be you or it could be the construction company you’ve engaged to carry out the works as Principal Contractor.
If you’ve engaged a decent building firm they will have team members that can hang a door, install a window and fit any bespoke made item as the project demands.
It’s our job to supply the items correctly made and on time. It’s how things were done when our great conurbations were built and it’s the way the vast majority of the top building companies still work today.
If you require single items such as a main front door or a set of bespoke made windows and your project isn’t a complete refurbishment or build then you’re probably looking for a complete solution. It’s more cost effective to engage one firm of supply-fitters in this instance.

The solution:
Our clients are, in any case, generally having separate phases of works carried out over time which is understandable given the cost and disruption and if this is the case for you we’d like to assure you that over the past 30 years we’ve carried out hundreds of supply/installations ranging from the commercial to the domestic sector. We can of course operate on a supply and fit basis and this is entirely appropriate where only one or two peripheral trades are required to complete a project.

Building Control documents and CE marking for our range of timber windows and doors are part of the service.

Verifiable email communications from a few customers:

We don’t ask customers for testimonials though we do get them sometimes anyway. We occasionally publish them on our Google local listing. We get the most pleasure from the emails customers send us when we’ve completed a project because they seem more spontaneous and to you possibly more authentic. Here are a few:

Hi Max,
Just made the final balance payment, so it should be with you now.
I managed to get round to the flat on Wednesday, they look great, really pleased thank very much.
The tenants are also really pleased, and best of all they’ve had the heating on and noticed a huge difference in the room temperature. So that’s mission accomplished.
Paul

Windows look great Max, thanks to all for all your work. Send us over the invoice when you’re ready
Regards
Anthony

Max – final payment is on its way. Thanks again for all that you did.

Oh wow! Aren’t the windows gorgeous! I’m delighted with them, thank you so much Max. I love the moldings. They are perfect.
I contacted Duncan who’s away until mid-March, but he’s totally on side regarding the restoration work. He said he’ll contact me on his return and I would hope to get things underway soon after.
Thank you for the recommendation – both Duncan and I will look on their website and we’ll go from there.
All the best,
Sue

Hi Max,
Hope all’s well. Was down at the house over the weekend. Windows look good! Just wondering when you come back to do the door and shutters would you be able to bring some more window catches and finger lifts for downstairs. Would be good to keep it all consistent throughout.
Also i have been in touch with Hinges & Brackets and have changed a few items on the estimate you did. I’m just considering wether to add a door knocker or door knob to the front door and then we can proceed with that order.
Thanks again,
Rob
